Overview
Feathered Friends is a community organisation that started with the desire to improve on the care of birds in captivity. It is now one of Australia’s largest and most empowering avian facilities; providing captive and wild birdlife with hope and the chance to experience wild flight again. The facility, known as The Sanctuary, is dedicated to the education and preservation of the world’s bird species, and is specially designed for our birds as a place for them to call home.
Feathered Friends endeavours to inspire the public about our native and exotic fauna and have created several experiences for Teams to enjoy. With memorable and unique encounters for all to appreciate while assisting in research and conservation for our amazing “feathered friends”!
